About Us

Dr. Douglas Leo

Dr. Leo is a graduate of University of California Berkeley and has been in private practice for over 20 years. Dr. Leo is a member of the American Optometric Association and is past president of the local chapter of the Inland Empire Optometric Society. He is also board certified to prescribe eye medications.

Dr. Leo is on the board of the Fontana Kiwanis Club and chairman for the Key Clubs of A.B. Miller, Fontana, Kaiser and Summit High Schools.

Dr. William Wong

Dr. Wong is a graduate of University of California Berkeley and has been in private practice over 25 years. He is board certified to prescribe eye medications. Dr. Wong is a member of the American Optometric Association and is past president of the local chapter of the Inland Empire Optometric Society.

Dr. Wong is a member and past president of the Fontana Rotary Club. He is active in the local Fontana Area Chamber of Commerce.

Carol Rucobo, Office Manager

Carol has been in the Optical field for over 25 years. She feels that Fontana Optometric Group has proven to be the most fulfilling place to be. Having a great team makes her job easy. Keeping patients happy and making sure they receive the best experience is her goal.

Faizal Nasib, Lab Manager/ Optician

When not helping patients with his professional lens and frame selection, Faizal is in the lab cutting lenses to the most precise prescription standards. With 10 years of experience at Fontana Optometric Group, and 15 years total in the optical field, Faizal is dedicated to delivering high quality eyewear. Come see his smiling face.

 Tina Garcia, Licensed Optician/Frame Stylist 

With over 20 years of experience, Tina helps patients with high fashion frame selections and educates them on different lens technologies that will meet their general or specialized visual needs. Tina is our Optical expert and can help you with any questions regarding frames, lenses or contacts.

Minerva Rocha, Receptionist/ Optometric Assistant

Minerva is the friendly voice on our phone. She answers general questions, verifies insurance coverage, and assists in the optical frame/lens selections. When you need to schedule an appointment, Minerva is waiting for your call.

Maria Morales/ Optometric Assistant 

Maria is one of the friendly faces administering patient's pre-exam testing. Operating our high tech instruments is Maria’s expertise.  She would be glad to answer any of your questions.

Natalie Padilla/ Optometric Assistant

Natalie is the friendly and energetic person you will see at the front desk. When she is not welcoming patients she can be found filling in wherever she is needed. From pre-testing to frame selections or contact lens trainings, Natalie is always ready to give exceptional service.

Lindsy Rivas Reyes, Optometric Assistant 

If you need contacts ordered, Lindsy is the girl. Our contact lens supply is well organized and you can be sure to get your lenses the same day or very quick, thanks to Lindsy.
